Research Program at the Artists' Health Centre

A high priority for the Artists’ Health Centre Foundation is to conduct research within the artistic community to identify key health issues for artists and to determine which therapies are most effective in treating and preventing the health problems that are common among artists. We are committed to making that information available to the artistic community, both in this city and across the country. Through evidence-based research, we hope to discover some of the causes of artists' occupational illnesses and injuries, and study the clinical benefits of combining therapies in the most effective way possible.

Dr. David Cassidy has been appointed Senior Scientist at the Artists' Health Centre, and will be directing research initiatives in consultation with the AHC staff, practitioners, and AHCF committees.
